Tuesday

Day one

First day at non-confrom, a design studio on hope street in liverpool.
I produced a vector stamp for a client called dave knopov. He is holding an event called art aid. This will be an exhibition for the Japanese red cross on Thursday 12th May. The stamp was the head of a liver bird within a circle. He wanted a rough and ready graphic of the stamp made aswell just incase he couldn't get the stamp made.
I also created a new menu and a paper advert for an indian Restaurant and Bar in Cyprus called 'Sheraz'. There was an existing advert in a magazine, however this was quite badly designed, hence my re-design. however i did not finish this as i was asked to start a new task.
I was asked to create a pull out information booklet for a housing development magazine. the magazine is produced for an area in liverpool called Knowsley set up by a company called HTC. After i completed the layout i had my first go at typesetting. this is done for legibility purposes and to make the document look neater. i never knew how much work goes into a document i would normally take for granted.
