After lunch i got round to completing the menu for Sheraz Restaurant & bar. i had to adjust the typeface i used as it was not legible when it was printed the size of the paper ad.
Today i also sat in a couple of meetings. the first brief was for a children's performance group. this was set by a client that uses non-conform regularly to produce work for them. We have to create an image that is going to be used on a poster promoting an event the group is hosting which encourages parents to read to their children. I came up with the idea of role reversal and having a child sat in a chair, wearing an adults suit and some glasses that are to big for them, reading to a bunch of adults sat on the floor around him/her. we are going to discuss this in more detail tomorrow.
The other brief that i am going to get involved in, is promotional material for a university trying to keep graduates on at the uni after they graduate. their aim and selling point is 'focus' they have produced images of a student with the background blurred out. emphasising the point of focusing. this is going to be discussed in more detail on Monday.
